Ali's 5th Birthday

My little girl is 5!  I can't believe how fast it has gone.  She has been a fun one, always full of it.

All she wanted to do for her birthday was go bowling.  It makes for an easy party!  We were in Idaho, so she was able to be with her cousins!  Brock gets tired of being drug everywhere we go.

Brent came straight from the field!  I wish this picture showed how filthy he was.  Only in Idaho could you get away with that!

Family Reunion

We had a Nielsen Family Reunion in Idaho.  This is my mom's side of the family.  We went to Harris Pond down the road from my mom and dad's house.  It is a neat little place with a big pond, zipline, slide, canoes, and all sorts of fun things.  We played volleyball with a huge beachball, ate a lot of food and had fun catching up.  We were missing s few people and I wished they would have been there too.

This is my grandparents with most of the great-grandchildren.
Ali and Macey relaxing on the hammock.  This wonderful little thing bucked me off!  I was trying to get Brock to sleep, so I just backed up to the thing.  I knew hammocks were a little difficult to get on, so I did go about it slowly. Before I knew it I was on the ground.  I looked around hoping no one saw.  Unfortunetly my brother Brent saw and was laughing his head off. I was so embarassed!
These babies are Brooklyn, Brock, and Dax.
This is a giiinormous slip and slide. When they asked if we wanted the slip and slide out, I thought sure, the kids would probably love that.  I had no idea it was a 50X80 tarp.  Eveyone had a blast.  I can't even say how many were on it at one time. We did have one accident, no surprise!!  My sister in law hurt her foot.
Brock had a day.  A lot of sun and heat for this little guy!
Makailey and Aubrey in the canoe.  Brent later got what he deserved, the canoe bucked him out!!
And of course... cute Marley!!!

Dave had to go back to Binghamton, NY to personally pay a $50 fine for a property there in NY (the court actually ordered him to personally appear). He took Aubrey and spent some time in NYC, DC, Baltimore, and Annapolis.

Niagra Falls to Boston

On June 9, Dave had to go to New York for some business. Of course, he didn't waste any time seeing the sites and traveling all across the state. He met Barrett Nelson in Palmyra and then headed to Niagra Falls to see the falls and eat dinner in Canada. That night, he drove all the way back across New York and into the Boston area. The next morning, he picked up Devin Osterhout at the airport, and they spent the day walking around Boston. They walked the Freedom Trail and saw most of the historical sites. That night, they went to the Red Socks/Yankees game at Fenway Park. The next morning, Devin had to catch an early plane, and Dave spent some time buying souveniers before his flight.

Hill Cumorah, of course.

Bunker Hill memorial. They walked up the 291 stairs to the top.
